[Normally, Clay doesn't really worry if his crewmates are out for the night. They can take care of themselves, after all, and they have other obligations besides the ship. Heck, Clay himself spends some nights away sometimes.

It's a little different with Katie; she's there every night, after all, and even though Clay knows she can handle herself just fine, she's still pretty much a kid. So at night, he'll at least try to call her, at least know where she is so he won't have to worry so much.]
