I'm Sam Winchester; I'm close friends with her, from our time in another world.

[He totally carried her soul(s) inside him for a little while too. And had some of her glamor vision crap passed onto him on occasion. And she accidentally made the devil in his hallucinations real sort of once.

Yeah, think so. I came into my room and found her under my bed -- she was really freaked out. I'm just not sure what it was, but knowing her, it could be quite a few things.

... Only problem is, getting honest answers is kind of a struggle.

Oh yeah, her thing. [The whole lying thing. It took Clay some time to realize what was going on, and then some time to try to get used to it.]

I usually try to switch around what she's saying in my head, but sometimes I just can't do it. What did she say? [He may or may not be already getting prepared to head over.] Would she mind if I came over, or should I leave her alone for a little while?

Yeah, not much for honesty.

[Not that she can help it at all, but Sam's not sure how much he's supposed to trust this guy in particular. On the bright side, he reached out to Katie and sounded genuinely concerned. Small things. He rubs his chin, wondering how much to clue this guy in on.]

I think there's someone potentially dangerous aboard the fleet.
