[After Katie makes an offer to Jack this morning, she finally braves the teleporters to come travelling into town from the beach the way any normal person would. Which is annoying to the extreme, and she really needs to ask someone about her lost magic, because just hopping over the mountain range was extraordinarily convenient. But she has people to check in on in the wake of the huge storm, now she's feeling a lot more stable.
Her friends, to make sure they're okay. And those she ran into in the forest, to make sure they're okay.
Ergo, her stops are:
Houses #5, #6, and #7
House Avatar
And she's also looking for a weird guy in a dirty trenchcoat. To apologise for being so rude, if nothing else.
Last of all, Raine.
She's very quietly kind of stomping through the street, though she'll stop to jump her way through any leaves or even water still left pooled behind. Still a kid, after all.]
((ooc: sob this will be terribly slow, but timing is important. Anyone's welcome to tag even if Katie is specifically looking for certain people, but I will be excruciatingly slow for a few days. Annnd given this is the aftermath of some threads that are still not finished yet, those on Katie's last post are welcome to placeholder this post and we can do that thread once we finish the first one.))

Oh, Katie! [Although Vash is never too tired to put a smile on for a kid.] What are you up to today?

So an artist by the fountain is a very, very wonderful encounter by now. It draws Katie from her determined path, and she wanders up to peer at what he's doing.
Ah. Her eyes flick across the fountain itself before she speaks up.]
Someone you know?

[He swipes over the wings with an opalescent pencil.] I think I'm gonna have to paint it when I get home.

Hi! [Common sense tells her this guest is probably here for one of the grown-ups, but there's a small part of Vivi that hopes fiercely that this girl has actually come to play with her.]

You kind of have the same sort of echoes.

Not that this really means anything's different. She smiles.]
Hello. What's your name?
